Multiple Grand Slam tennis champion Serena Williams said she donated some of her breast milk to those in need.
In August of this year, a second daughter was born into the family of former world number one and entrepreneur Alexis Ohanyan.
Serena showed the refrigerator where the milk was stored.
— During a recent trip to New York, I had some breast milk left over. After passing the test, I was able to donate it instead of taking the milk home.
I know so many wonderful women who adopt or are unable to produce milk.
“I’m very happy to donate some of the breast milk I had left over from my trip to New York to people who really need it,” Williams wrote on social media.
Previously, 42-year-old Williams shared a video in which she used breast milk under her eyes as a remedy for sunburn.
