The team of Medvedev and Rublev reached the finals of the exhibition tournament in the UAE

The Eagles team, consisting of Russian tennis players Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, Mirra Andreeva and American Sofia Kenin, reached the finals of the World Tennis League exhibition tournament in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
The Eagles finished second in the standings with 75 points.
The Eagles’ opponent in the final was the Kites (79), represented by Belarusian Arina Sabalenka, Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas and Spanish Paula Badosa.
On Saturday, the Kites played against the Hawks. Sabalenka defeated Poland’s Iga Szwiatek with a score of 6:4, Dimitrov was defeated by the Norwegian Casper Ruud – 4:6.
Sabalenka paired with Badosa lost to Szwiatek and Caroline Garcia (France) – 3:6, Dimitrov and Lloyd Harris (South Africa) beat Ruud and Hubert Hurkacz (Poland) – 6:4.
