Russian tennis player Daria Kasatkina became a semi-finalist of the tournament in Adelaide, Australia.
The Russian’s opponent in the quarterfinals was supposed to be Laura Siegemund, but the German withdrew from the match.
In the semifinals, Kasatkina will play with the winner of the meeting between Jessica Pegula (USA, second seed) and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (Russia).
