Russian tennis player Elina Avanesyan reached the third round of her debut at the Australian Open, which is taking place in Melbourne.

In the second round, the 21-year-old Russian woman beat the eighth racket of the world, Maria Sakkari from Greece, with a score of 6:4, 6:4. The meeting lasted 1 hour 43 minutes.
