Russian Avanesyan beat the eighth racket of the world in the second round of the Australian Open

Russian tennis player Elina Avanesyan reached the third round of her debut at the Australian Open, which is taking place in Melbourne.
In the second round, the 21-year-old Russian woman beat the eighth racket of the world, Maria Sakkari from Greece, with a score of 6:4, 6:4. The meeting lasted 1 hour 43 minutes.
Avanesyan’s next opponent will be Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk.
