Russian tennis player Ekaterina Alexandrova reached the quarterfinals of the WTA 500 tournament in Linz, Austria.
In the second round match, Alexandrova, who received the second seed, defeated German Julia Niemeyer. The meeting lasted 1 hour 4 minutes and ended with a score of 6:3, 6:0.
In the next round, Alexandrova will play against the winner of the match between Anastasia Potapova (Russia, 5) and Elisabetta Cocciaretto (Italy).
