Samsonova completed her performance at the tennis tournament in Doha in the first round

Russian tennis player Lyudmila Samsonova failed to make it to the second round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Doha.
In the opening round, 12th seeded Samsonova was defeated by Canadian Leila Fernandez with a score of 5:7, 6:7 (4:7). The athletes spent 2 hours and 10 minutes on the court.
Last week, Samsonova reached the semifinals of the WTA 500 tournament in Abu Dhabi.
In the next round, Fernandez will play against Spaniard Paula Badosa.
