Pavlyuchenkova beat Kasatkina in the first round of the tournament in Doha

Russian tennis player Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova reached the second round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Doha.
In the opening match, Pavlyuchenkova defeated compatriot Daria Kasatkina, who received the 11th seed. The meeting lasted 1 hour 41 minutes and ended with a score of 6:2, 7:6 (7:2).
On Sunday, Kasatkina reached the final of the tournament in Abu Dhabi, where she lost to the representative of Kazakhstan, Elena Rybakina. Earlier, the Russian woman criticized the WTA for the busy schedule of games.
In the next round, Pavlyuchenkova will play against Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk.
