Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev failed to reach the semi-finals of the ATP 250 tournament in Doha.
The Russian, seeded number one, lost to the 116th racket of the world to the Czech Jakub Mensik in the quarter-final match with a score of 4:6, 6:7 (6:8). The meeting lasted 1 hour 36 minutes.
The next opponent of 18-year-old Menchik will be the winner of the match between the French Hugo Humbert (third seeded) and Gael Monfils (wild card).
