Russian tennis player Natalya Vikhlyantseva believes that Karen Khachanov is a standard Russian athlete, since he behaves with dignity not only on the court, but also off it.
Khachanov is ranked 15th in the world rankings and has six ATP individual titles to his name.
“I was very happy when Karen reached the semi-finals of the 2023 Australian Open last year, because I know his family and his wife Veronica. Karen is a standard Russian tennis player. There are, of course, Andrei Rublev, Danya Medvedev – they impress with their results. And Karen still shows herself off the court and behaves with dignity.
