Russian tennis player Ekaterina Alexandrova failed to reach the third round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Indian Wells (USA).
In the second round, Alexandrova, who received the 15th seed, was defeated by the representative of Kazakhstan Yulia Putintseva with a score of 5:7, 1:6. The match lasted 1 hour 30 minutes.
In the third round, Putintseva will meet the winner of the game Madison Keys (USA, 18) – Haley Batiste (USA).
