Rublev beat the former first racket of the world at the ATP tournament in Indian Wells

Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev reached the third round of the ATP 1000 tournament in Indian Wells (USA).

Rublev, the fifth seed, defeated Briton Andy Murray in the second round with a score of 7:6 (7:3), 6:1. The match lasted 1 hour 48 minutes.

The Russian’s next opponent will be the Czech Jiri Legechka (32).

Murray, 36, is a former world No. 1 and two-time Olympic champion in singles.
