Blinkova defeated world number five Pegula in the second round of the Indian Wells tournament

Russian tennis player Anna Blinkova made it to the third round of the tournament in Indian Wells (USA).
In the second round match, the Russian woman beat the fifth racket of the world, American Jessica Pegula, with a score of 6:2, 3:6, 6:3. The meeting lasted more than two hours.
Blinkova’s next opponent will be Frenchwoman Diane Parry.
Other Russian representatives Diana Schneider and Lyudmila Samsonova finished their fight at the tournament. Schneider lost to Greek Maria Sakkari, seeded ninth (7:5, 4:6, 0:6), and Samsonova (14th seed) was defeated by Japanese Naomi Osaka – 5:7, 3:6.
