Russian tennis player Elina Avanesyan failed to reach the fourth round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami.

In the third round match, the Russian woman, ranked 65th in the world ranking, lost to American Danielle Collins with a score of 1:6, 2:6. The meeting lasted 1 hour 11 minutes.

In the 1/8 finals of the tournament, Collins’ opponent will be the Romanian tennis player Sorana Cirstea, who previously beat the Russian Daria Kasatkina in her match.
