Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev reached the third round at the Masters series tournament in Monte Carlo.
Medvedev, who received the fourth seed, beat Frenchman Gael Monfils in the second round with a score of 6:2, 6:4. During the second set, the Russian came back from a score of 1:4. The tennis players spent 1 hour and 29 minutes on the court.
In the third round, Medvedev will meet with compatriot Karen Khachanov (15th seed).
