The winner of two Grand Slam mixed doubles tournaments, Andrei Olkhovsky, commented on Karen Khachanov’s victory over Daniil Medvedev in the third round of the Masters in Monte Carlo.
Khachanov defeated his compatriot in two sets on Thursday – 6:3, 7:5.
— I will say that Khachanov is playing well now. He shows a stable, confident game. To beat him, you just need patience and composure. Of course, when Medvedev plays emotionally, I don’t think it helps him. Khachanov really played well today,” Vprognoze.ru quotes Olkhovsky as saying.
In the quarterfinals, Khachanov will play with the winner of the meeting between Alexander Zverev (Germany, 5) and Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece, 12).
