Russian Veronika Kudermetova beat Czech Barbora Krejcikova in the first round match of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) tournament in Stuttgart, Germany.
The meeting lasted 3 hours 6 minutes and ended with a score of 5:7, 6:4, 6:4 in favor of the Russian. In the decisive set, the Russian came back from a 1:4 score.
In the next round, Kudermetova will meet with the representative of Kazakhstan Elena Rybakina, who is the fourth seed in the tournament.
