World number one Polish player Iga Szwiatek lost to Elena Rybakina from Kazakhstan in the semi-finals of the tennis tournament in Stuttgart.
The meeting ended with a score of 6:3, 4:6, 6:3 in favor of Rybakina. The tennis players spent 2 hours and 51 minutes on the court.
The score of personal matches on the WTA tour is now 4–2 in favor of Rybakina. The Kazakhstani tennis player reached the fifth final this season.
The second finalist of the tournament will be determined in the match between Marta Kostyuk (Ukraine) and Marketa Vondrousova (Czech Republic, 6).
