Russian tennis player Anastasia Potapova beat compatriot Diana Schneider in the first round of the WTA 1000 clay tournament in Madrid.
The meeting lasted 1 hour 38 minutes and ended with a score of 7:5, 6:4.
Potapova’s opponent in the second round will be Canadian representative Leila Fernandez (32nd seed).
