Russian tennis player Natalya Vikhlyantseva expressed the opinion that compatriot Andrei Rublev is capable of winning the Masters tennis tournament in Madrid (Spain).
In the semi-finals of the tournament, Rublev defeated Taylor Fritz from the USA with a score of 6:4, 6:3.
“I expected Andrei to pass Taylor. Although the American plays well on any surface, including clay, I had faith that the Russian would be able to defeat Fritz. I didn’t think that Rublev would defeat his opponent so easily. The final result is gorgeous! You can believe that Rublev will take the title in Madrid,” Vikhlyantseva told the Championship.
In the final of the tournament, the Russian will play with Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the meeting will take place on May 5.
