“I’ve never felt such attraction.” The most beautiful couple in tennis has broken up

The relationship between the Spanish woman and the Greek ended too quickly.

Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa were considered the most exciting couple in world tennis. But their relationship ended as unexpectedly and quickly as it began. Now the Greek and the Spanish woman are moving on in different ways.

But it all started very beautifully!

“Tsitsidosa”

The romance between Tsitsipas and Badosa began in June 2023. Rumors about their warm relationship began at the Roland Garros tournament. Paula did not participate in it due to injury, but came to support Stefanos in the stands. Later, the tennis players confirmed that they were united by something more than simple friendship.

The Greek and the Spaniard immediately became a prominent pair in tennis, as in different years they were among the top five ATP and WTA players. Their relationship instantly attracted attention. And Tsitsipas and Badosa did not try to hide their personal lives, sharing their moments in the media and social networks. They even created a joint account, calling it “Tsitsidosa.”

According to them, harmony and mutual understanding reigned in the relationship between the tennis players. Paula thanked her partner for his support – they started dating when the Spaniard was suffering from trauma and was depressed because of it.

“Stefanos is always there, empathizing with my injuries, and also inspires me. In all the failures, I try to empathize with him, and he with me,” Paula said on the Inside-In podcast.

Tsitsipas did not hesitate to publicly compliment his friend.

“I have met many women in my life, but I have never felt such attraction, seen so much beauty or been so interested in any woman. I told Paula about it and she said it was mutual. I was very happy to hear this. We are on the same wavelength, this is a spiritual connection,” the Greek noted in an interview with Bild.

Stefanos and Paula are complete opposites

Time passed, and more and more talk began to be heard about the possible wedding of Tsitsipas and Badosa. They knew each other’s parents and appeared together almost everywhere. Even in post-match interviews, they did not shy away from questions about their personal lives.

It got to the point that Stefanos and Paula played as a pair at the New Year’s exhibition tournament in Abu Dhabi. After the first match, Badosa, commenting on the joint performance, made a reservation, saying “either we will get a divorce, or everything will work out as it should.” Tsitsipas saw this as a hint.

— I thought for a moment, when did I get married? Apparently this is a subtle hint. Sharing the court not just with Paula, but with a person I’ve been watching for several years now is a great pleasure,” the Greek said after the match, as quoted by Gotennis.

According to others, Stefanos and Paula were complete opposites. The Greek mother, Yulia Salnikova, called her potential daughter-in-law an extrovert and a moderately liberated person. This radically distinguished her from the calm and modest Tsitsipas. Nevertheless, they managed to find a common language.

How long will tennis players remain free?

However, the bright romance came to an end. After 11 months, the Greek-Spanish couple broke up. Paula reported this on social networks.

“As friends with great mutual respect, we decided to move forward, each on our own path. We continue to wish each other only the best in all our endeavors,” the Spaniard wrote.

Alas, the beautiful love story has come to an end. Now many are worried about the question – how long will Stefanos and Paula remain free? They can give an answer to it in the near future.
