Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov reached the 1/8 finals of the Masters series tournament in Rome.
In the third round match, Khachanov, who received the 16th seed, defeated Argentinean Francisco Cherundolo (20th seed). The meeting lasted 1 hour 33 minutes and ended with a score of 6:2, 6:4.
In the next round, the Russian will play against the winner of the match between Novak Djokovic (Serbia, 1) and Alejandro Tabilo (Chile, 29).
