A tennis court named after Russian Daniil Medvedev was opened in the suburbs of Paris

A court was opened in the suburbs of Paris, which bears the name of the Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev. The regional councilor of the Ile-de-France region, Josiane Simon, announced this on social networks.
The court was opened on Wednesday, May 22, at the Maisons-Laffite Tennis Club. Medvedev attended the opening ceremony and held an autograph session for visitors to the event.
28-year-old Medvedev is in fifth place in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings. He is the winner of the US Open (2021) and 20 ATP singles tournaments.
