Russian tennis player Erika Andreeva lost at the start of the French Open.
Andreeva lost to Belarusian Arina Sabalenka (2nd seed) in the first round with a score of 1:6, 2:6. The meeting lasted a little over an hour.
Sabalenka will play in the next round with the winner of the pair Irene Burillo Escorihuela (Spain) – Moyuka Uchijima (Japan).
