Former world number nine Andrei Chesnokov believes that Italian Jannik Sinner and Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz will compete for the title of world number one over the next 6-7 years.
On Monday, Sinner topped the ATP rankings for the first time in his career. The 2024 Roland Garros winner Alcaraz moved up to second place.
“I think that not only in the near future, but also in the next six to seven years, the title of first racket of the world will be shared between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. Potentially, they are the brightest, most stable and strongest tennis players of our time,” Vprognoze.ru quotes Chesnokov as saying.
