On June 13, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) admitted to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris all the strongest Russian tennis players who qualify for the Games according to the rating.
Thus, Daniil Medvedev, Roman Safiullin, Pavel Kotov and Aslan Karatsev will perform in the men’s singles.
Medvedev is 5th in the ATP rankings, Safiullin is 43rd, Kotov is 51st, Karatsev is 92nd.
The Olympic Games in Paris will be held from July 26 to August 11.
In December 2023, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced that it would allow Russian athletes who successfully passed the selection process to participate in the 2024 Olympics as individual neutrals without a flag, anthem, or other national symbols.
