Russian Pavlyuchenkova fails to reach second round of tennis tournament in Eastbourne

Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova failed to reach the 1/8 finals of the WTA 500 tennis tournament in Eastbourne (Great Britain).
In the first round, the 32-year-old athlete, seeded 8th in the tournament, lost to Poland’s Magda Linett – 6:1, 6:7 (4:7), 4:6. The match lasted 2 hours and 18 minutes.
For a place in the quarterfinals of the competition, Linett will compete with the winner of the match between Karolina Muchova (Czech Republic) and Elina Avanesyan (Russia).
