The issue of Karatsev and Kudermetova’s participation in the 2024 Olympics will be decided in the coming week
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has not yet allowed Veronika Kudermetova and Aslan Karatsev, who were included in the application of the Russian Tennis Federation (RTF), to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
According to the Match TV website, a decision on their admission will be made in the coming week. Representatives of the athletes and the RTF hope that Kudermetova and Karatsev still have a chance to play in Paris.
Earlier it became known that Daniil Medvedev, Mirra Andreeva, Diana Schneider, Pavel Kotov, Roman Safiullin and Ekaterina Alexandrova accepted the IOC invitation to the Olympics.
The Olympic Games in Paris will be held from July 26 to August 11, 2024. The tennis tournament will be held on clay courts.
