Nadezhda Petrova: “Sharapova and I didn’t really try to resolve the conflict”
Olympic bronze medalist in doubles Nadezhda Petrova spoke about the conflict with Maria Sharapova.
The incident occurred during a match between Petrova and Sharapova in the United States. Sharapova’s father and coach, who were in the stands on the court, behaved inappropriately towards Petrova during the match and spoke loudly about the tennis player’s performance. After the match, Petrova’s coach expressed dissatisfaction with the behavior of Sharapova’s side and was disqualified for several tournaments.
