Russian tennis matches at the 2024 Olympics, interrupted by rain, have resumed

The matches between Daniil Medvedev and the Russian duo Mirra Andreeva/Diana Schneider at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, which were previously interrupted due to rain, have resumed.

Fourth seed Medvedev plays Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime (13th seed) in the third round. The game on Simone Mathieu Court was stopped in the first set on Medvedev’s serve with the score 4:3 in the Canadian’s favor.

The second-round doubles match between Andreeva and Schneider and Canada’s Gabriela Dabrowski and Leyla Fernandez (seeded 5th) was called off in the first set with the score 2-1 in favor of the Canadians.

The remaining outdoor tennis tournament matches have also resumed.

The Paris Games are taking place from July 26 to August 11. All Russian athletes are competing in the competitions as neutrals.
