Russian tennis players Schneider and Andreeva win silver at the 2024 Olympics in doubles

Russian tennis players Mirra Andreeva and Diana Schneider won silver medals in doubles at the 2024 Olympic Games.
In the final match, Andreeva and Schneider lost to the Italian duo Sara Errani/Jasmine Paolini (3rd seed) with a score of 6:2, 1:6, 7:10. The match lasted 1 hour and 24 minutes.
Andreeva, 17, became the youngest Olympic tennis medalist since 1992, when American Jennifer Capriati won gold in singles at the age of 16 years, 132 days.
This medal was the first for Russian athletes at the Games in the capital of France, which will end on August 11.
