Rublev defeats Frenchman Rinderknech in five-set match and advances to third round of US Open
Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev has reached the third round of the US Open.
In the second round match, the Russian defeated Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech – 4:6, 5:7, 6:1, 6:2, 6:2. The tennis players spent 4 hours and 9 minutes on the court.
Rublev’s next opponent will be Czech Jiri Legecka, who is seeded 32nd.
