“Despite a comfortable first set, it was a tough match.” Olkhovsky on Kalinskaya’s victory in the US Open match
Davis Cup finalist Andrey Olkhovsky believes that the second round match of the US Open was not easy for Russian tennis player Anna Kalinskaya, despite the crushing score in the first set.
In the second round match, the Russian defeated Hungarian Anna Bondar with a score of 6:2, 6:4.
— Despite the comfortable first set, this was not an easy match for Kalinskaya. Bondar was still able to cause her problems. All the intrigue began in the second set, Anna was losing 3:4 and 15:40. Well done that she did not waver and stood her ground, — RB Sport quotes Chesnokov as saying.
In the next round, Kalinskaya will play Beatriz Haddad-Maia from Brazil.
