Russian Schneider fails to reach US Open quarterfinals

Russian tennis player Diana Schneider failed to reach the quarterfinals of the US Open.
Schneider, seeded 18th, lost to American Jessica Pegula in two sets, 4-6, 2-6.
In the quarterfinals, Pegula will play the winner of the pair Iga Swiatek (Poland, 1) – Lyudmila Samsonova (Russia, 16).
