Aryna Sabalenka qualified for the WTA Finals
The second racket of the world, Belarusian Arina Sabalenka, has qualified for the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Final Tournament in Riyadh, the WTA press service reports.
Previously, Sabalenka reached the final of the US Open for the second year in a row. On Saturday, she will play against American Jessica Pegula in the final match of the tournament.
Sabalenka became the second tennis player to qualify for the WTA Finals this season, after world ranking leader Iga Szwiatek from Poland.
The final WTA tournament will take place from November 2 to 9. Sabalenka will take part in it for the fourth time in a row.
