Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev lost to world number 96 to Chinese Bu Yongchaoketa in the quarterfinals of the ATP 500 tournament in Beijing.

Bu Yongchaokete, who received a wild card from the tournament organizers, won with a score of 7:5, 6:4. The meeting lasted 1 hour 33 minutes. In the semi-finals, the Chinese will meet the world number one, Italian Jannik Sinner.

Rublev was seeded fourth at the tournament. He played the second match of the day – earlier the Russian completed the 1/8 finals match against the Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina, which was interrupted on Sunday due to rain.
