Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva reached the second round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Wuhan, China.
In her opening match, she beat Chinese Wang Xiyu – 7:6 (7:5), 6:3. The meeting lasted 1 hour 45 minutes.
The next opponent of 17-year-old Mirra Andreeva, seeded 16th at the tournament, will be her sister, 20-year-old Erika Andreeva. This will be their first meeting at WTA tournaments.
