Sabalenka beat Putintseva and reached the quarterfinals of the tournament in Wuhan
Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka reached the quarterfinals of the WTA 1000 tournament in Wuhan, China.
Sabalenka, who received the first seeding number, beat the representative of Kazakhstan Yulia Putintseva with a score of 1:6, 6:4, 6:0. The meeting lasted just over two hours.
For reaching the semi-finals of the competition, Sabalenka will compete with the winner of the pair Beatriz Haddad-Maia (Brazil, 9) – Magdalena French (Poland).
