Kalinskaya rose to 12th place in the WTA rankings
Russian tennis player Anna Kalinskaya moved from 13th to 12th place in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) ranking, an updated version of which was published on the organization’s website.
There are three changes in the top ten: American Cori Gauff moved up to third place, and her compatriot Jessica Pegula dropped to fourth place. Brazilian Beatriz Haddad-Maia rose to tenth place.
Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova rose from 33rd to 28th place. Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova lost four positions and is now in 30th place. Anastasia Potapova moved up one position (37th place), Kamilla Rakhimova moved up two places (64th place). Erika Andreeva rose from 70th to 66th place, Veronika Kudermetova dropped from 63rd position to 67th. Anna Blinova dropped 15 positions (99th place).

Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina After winning the WTA tournament in Auckland, she shared an emotional post on social networks.
On her Instagram account, Svitolina posted a series of atmospheric photos from the field and the awards ceremony, where she posed with the trophy, as well as footage of match moments from the final match. The photo of the Ukrainian woman holding a symbolic black jersey cup with the inscription SVITOLINA on the back attracted particular attention.

“We will definitely remember this moment; we both won the same tournament,” Elina wrote, alluding to the family’s success and the emotional value of this victory.
The victory in Auckland was a major early-season turning point for Svitolina and boosted her confidence ahead of her performance at the Australian Open. Baranka after the tiebreaker: Kalinina advances to the final of the Aus Open 2026 qualifier
Ukrainian tennis player Angelina Kalinina (WTA 178) reached the final qualifying round of the 2026 Australian Open, the first Grand Slam of the season.
The Ukrainian team was defeated in the second round of the election Anouk Koevermans (Netherlands, WTA 192) She took the wheel in the second match in 1 hour and 52 minutes.

Angelina played her first head-to-head match against Kuvermans.

Angelina became the second representative of Ukraine after Yulia Starodubtseva, who managed to reach the final qualification of the major in Melbourne this year.

Russian Gasanova reached the Australian Open qualifying final, Prozorova dropped out
Russian tennis player Anastasia Gasanova reached the final qualifying round of the Australian Open.
Hasanova beat the Lithuanian representative Justyna Mikulskite with a score of 6:7 (4:7), 6:2, 6:0.
The Russian’s opponent in the match for access to the main draw will be Turkish Zeynep Sönmez.
In another match of the second round of qualifying, another representative of Russia, Tatyana Prozorova, lost to Spain’s Guiomar Maristani Zuleta with a score of 2:6, 6:2, 7:6 (10:7).
The Australian Open main draw matches start on January 18.
