Daria Kasatkina beat Mirra Andreeva in the final of the WTA tournament in Ningbo
Russian tennis player Daria Kasatkina won the WTA 500 tournament in Ningbo, China.
In the final match, the 27-year-old athlete beat compatriot Mirra Andreeva with a score of 6:0, 4:6, 6:4. The tennis players spent 1 hour and 54 minutes on the court. 17-year-old Andreeva, who was playing her second tour final in her career, could not hold back her tears after the loss.
Kasatkina is Russia’s number one racket and is ranked 11th in the Women’s Tennis Association rankings. This victory was her eighth in WTA singles tournaments.
