Zverev beats Alcaraz to reach the semi-finals of the ATP Finals
German tennis player Alexander Zverev beat Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in the third match of the group stage of the ATP Finals Tournament in Turin.
The meeting lasted 1 hour 57 minutes and ended with a score of 7:6 (7:5), 6:4.
Zverev took his third victory in a row and finished in first place in John Newcombe’s group. The German will compete with American Taylor Fritz for reaching the final.
The third racket of the world Alcaraz will await the result of the meeting between Kasper Ruud (Norway) and Andrey Rublev (Russia), which will determine which of the three tennis players will advance from the group to the playoffs.
