Fritz beat Zverev and reached the final of the ATP Finals for the first time in his career
American tennis player Taylor Fritz became a finalist of the ATP Final Tournament, which takes place in Turin.
Fritz, who received the fifth seed, beat the second racket of the world, German Alexander Zverev, in the semifinals with a score of 6:3, 3:6, 7:6 (7:3). The meeting lasted 2 hours 22 minutes.
Fritz is the first American since 2006 to reach the finals of the Finals. His opponent in the decisive match will be the winner of the meeting Jannik Sinner (Italy, 1) – Kasper Ruud (Norway, 6).
