Medvedev lost one position in the ATP rankings
Russian Daniil Medvedev dropped to fifth place in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings, an updated version of which was published on the organization’s official website.
Last week, Medvedev failed to reach the semi-finals of the ATP Finals Tournament in Turin, losing two matches in the group stage.
The winner of the competition, Italian Jannik Sinner, retained the first line of the ranking. The second finalist of the Final Tournament, American Taylor Fritz, moved up one position and became fourth.
Norwegian Kasper Ruud overtook Serbian Novak Djokovic and became the sixth racket of the world, Andrey Rublev retained eighth position.
