Sobolenko cried and cursed obscenities in the final “Roland Garros”. This did not help win

In failure, Arina can only blame herself.

The final “Roland Garros” -2025 in a female single category met the expectations of the fans. Two best tennis players of the planet held three long parties on the court to find out who is stronger today. Arina Sobolenko had every chance to take the long-awaited trophy, but after the successful beginning, something broke in her game. The Belarusian cursed obscenities, drove off her team, but this did not help her succeed.

Arina completed the tournament with tears, but without victory.

A protracted party

On Saturday, June 7, as part of the opening championship of the French tennis, the final match was held in a female single category. The first racket of the world Arina Sobolenko and Kory Gauff fought for the trophy, who received a second sowing number at the tournament. Both athletes confidently moved along the grid – only once each had to hold three -section matches. In the quarterfinals, the American fought Madison Kiz, the Belarusian was somewhat dragged on by the semifinal confrontation with the iga of the shwes.

It is curious that on the eve of the final, the tennis players had equality on personal meetings as a whole (5-5) and on the ground (1-1). In 2025, the girls played once – in May, the victory remained for Sobolenko in Madrid in Madrid. And yet this did not allow us to draw far -reaching conclusions on the eve of the final in Paris. In the end, Gauff is also a top tennis player and was quite capable of revenge in the main match of a more prestigious tournament.

At the beginning of the meeting, the rivals exchanged successful taxes, and then Sobolenko managed to make a break. Further, the Belarusian tennis player developed success and after a while led 4: 1 in the party and 40: 0 in the next game. It would seem that the victory in the set is close, but Arina had to wait a long time to wait for her. The American took the rival, then submitted to the zero herself, and in the next geima it became equal. The protracted batch did not want to end for a long time, but in the end she reached the finals-its result was the victory of the first racket of the world in a tie-break.

“It really hurts”

In the second batch, the Belarusian tennis player began to be more mistaken. The balls flew into a grid, out, cable – the best tennis player in the world ceased to be like himself. Of course, all this negatively affected its result. Gauff immediately made a break, and then won his own feed to zero. Of course, to defeat Sobolenko with a “bagel” would be too much even in such a match, but in general, Arina’s set turned out to be a failure. She took only two game, and by the break the tennis player could only splash emotions.

Sobolenko again cursed obscenities, drove away her team. But playing the third set still needed, and she fought. But she didn’t take long in the account – Hauff quickly made a break and did not miss the more advantage. In separate gamies, Sobolenko fought and succeeded, in others inferior without a fight. The result of the decisive party was the victory of the American tennis player with a score of 6: 4. The victory for Roland Garros, as it is easy to guess, also went to her. The Belarusian took a failure to heart and after the game could not restrain her tears.

– Honestly, it hurts very much. Complex two weeks, high -level tennis. In any case, Coco is my congratulations. You spoke perfectly for two weeks and deserved this “helmet”. You are a real fighter. Thanks to my team. Sorry for such a terrible ending. Thanks to everyone. As always, I say that I will return stronger, ”said Sobolenko after the match.

It is hardly worth doubt that Arina will still have great victories ahead. But still, work on errors needs to be done. In this match, Gauff beat her on the case.
