Nadal racket was sold for a record 157 thousand dollars
The missile tennis player Rafael Nadal, which he played in the final of the 2017 open championship, was sold at auction for a record 157 thousand dollars, ESPN reports.
In the final, Roland Garros -2017 Nadal defeated Swiss Stan Vavrinka with a score of 6: 2, 6: 3, 6: 1 and won his 10th title at the French open championship. For the entire tournament, Nadal did not lose a single set.
The racket made to order has the RAFA emblem on the handle and the 2017 Roland Garros sticker with the inscription “RG 2017 Nadal”.
The previous record also belonged to the Nadal racket, which the Spaniard played in the final match of the Australian Open Championship in 2022 against the Russian Daniil Medvedev. Nadal in that meeting won five sets, having played from the account 0–2. Then the price of the racket amounted to 139.7 thousand dollars.
