A fraudster from Italy won Wimbledon! Sinner simply has no competitors

Revenge for failure at Roland Garros was a success.

The two strongest tennis players of our days Yannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaras not so long ago met in the final “Roland Garros”. The Italian then led the set 2-0, but managed to give the title to the opponent. However, at Wimbledon, Sinner was able to prove that he was now the number one in the world tennis.

Yannik did not leave the Spaniard a chance in the final.

Alcaras was relaxed

On Sunday, July 13, competitions in a men’s single discharge at the Wimbledon tournament were approaching a logical conclusion. In the final, the leader of the world ranking Yannik Sinner played against the second racket of the world of Carlos Alcaras. It is worth noting that on personal meetings the advantage with a score of 8: 4 was with the Spaniard, but the only confrontation on the grass coating ended in favor of the Italian, which was stronger in the 1/8 finals of Wimbledon-2022.

Talking about the pre-match layouts, it was worth recalling that Alkaras won the two previous Wimbledons, and even inflicted a touchy defeat of Sinner in the recent final of Roland Garros, having recouped with 0-2. The next confrontation promised to be long – without a struggle, the best tennis players of the world were not going to give in to each other a single game. In the starting set, the first to win the Break point managed to Yannik – in the middle of the first batch, he took the rival and led 3: 2, and then 4: 2. But Alkaras managed to make a reverse break and equalized in the set, and then he took possession of the advantage. Four Game won in a row allowed the Spaniard to leave the starting set along.

In general, one could say that the result at the start was on the case – the statistics reported that Carlos had better things to go through, and his opponent was more mistaken. In the second set, Sinner tried to fix the situation – I immediately made a break, but in general it was not created that a fracture had come in the game. Alcaras managed to play at zero at the reception and, it would seem, was able to pick up the second set. But perhaps it relaxed at some point-the ending of the party remained with the leader of the world ranking, who brought the matter to the victory with a score of 6: 4.

The first Italian champion

At the beginning of the third set, Alcaras had to compete at his presentation, but again he did not allow his opponent to discourage himself with a break at the start. Nevertheless, in general, Sinner, who at the beginning of the match clearly felt at ease, began to play more confident. At times he began to allow himself different tricks, like a twineer in the most important draw. This was not always justified, the Spaniard could easily punish, however, perhaps, to some extent, it was precisely this relaxedness that helped Yannik to turn on at full speed. He left an important third set, winning 6: 4.

Sinner improved the game on the presentation, although he still had a lot of mistakes. But it was difficult to cope with such an Italian Alcaras. The game of Carlos at the most inopportune moment was divided: he either lost his first serving, then in a harmless situation he sent the ball to the net. Yannik literally enjoyed the game: he took individual servings to zero, and most importantly, managed to quickly make and confirm the break.

Alkaras already looked lost, even the active support of the stands did not help, where, by the way, the king of Spain Philip VI experienced the tennis player. If Sinner was still minimized by the number of unreasonable errors, then the case could turn into a defeat. Carlos tried to cling to the match and did not allow the opponent to implement the matchball match. But the Spaniard only managed to delay the inevitable, Yannik brought the fourth set to victory with a score of 6: 4, won the match 3-1, and at the same time became the first Wimbledon winner in the male single category from Italy.

Nevertheless, Sinner, even the most loud victory of Sinner, are suspicious of some fans. It’s all about doping problems: in 2024, the Italian twice passed positive doping tests to steroid clostobol. The tennis player, of course, was punished, but they did it very formally. Having spent less than three months outside tennis, Yannik has returned and now plays as if nothing had happened. To compare the attitude of the public towards him with the bullying that Russians faced and face is completely inappropriate. But to be consistent, everyone who attacked our biathletes, skaters, athletes should also directly call the Italian a fraudster, and not applaud his victories standing.
