Aleksandrova went up to tenth place in the WTA championship race, Schneider played seven positions
Russian Ekaterina Aleksandrova rose to tenth in the championship race of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), the updated version of which is published on the organization’s website.
On Sunday, Alexandrova in the final of the WTA 500 category tournament in Mexican Monterrei lost to compatriot Diana Schneider. For 21 -year -old Schneider, this title in a solitary category was the first in the year and allowed her to play seven positions in the seasonal rating – now it is 16th.
The representative of Belarus, Arina Sobolenko, who has already secured participation in the final WTA tournament, leads in the championship race. Earlier, the Jugu Schwentek, the second Poland, was also qualified for the competition.
