Russian tennis players Diana Schneider and Mirra Andreev reached the second round of the US Open Championship in a steam room.
In the first round of the Russians, who received the fifth sowing number, they beat Harriet Dart (Great Britain) and Julia Putintsev (Kazakhstan) with a score of 6: 1, 6: 2. The match lasted 57 minutes.
In the second round of the tournament, Schneider and Andreev will play with the winners of the meeting Haley Baptist/Whitney Nasyiv (both USA) – Storm Hunter/Dezire Kravchik (Australia/USA).
