Djokovic repeated Federer’s record after exit to the fourth circle of US Open

The record holder for the number of victories at the large helmet tournaments Serb Novak Djokovic achieved another achievement, Opta Ace reports.
On Friday, Djokovic defeated the British Cameron Norri in the third circle of the opening championship of the United States, held in New York. Serb won with a score of 6: 4, 6: 7, 6: 2, 6: 3 and went to the 1/8 finals, where he would play against the German Yana -Linard Struff.
This victory has made a 38-year-old Jokovic as the oldest player, published in the 1/8 finals of the U.S. Open Championship over the past 34 years, since Jimmy Connors in 1991. He also equalized with Roger Federer in the number of exits to the fourth circle of large helmet tournaments – 69 times.
“Such matches always give me hope that I can achieve a lot and challenge the best players in the world,” said Djokovic.
Djokovich 24 times in his career won the large helmet tournaments in a solitary discharge. He won the Australian Open 10 times, won Wimbledon seven times, won four times on US Open and three times on Roland Garros.
