Sinner won the ATP tournament in Beijing
The second racket of the world, Italian Jannik Sinner, won the ATP 500 tournament in Beijing.
In the final match, top seeded Sinner beat American Larner Thien 6:2, 6:2. The duration of the meeting was 1 hour 12 minutes.
Sinner is 24 years old and won the 21st title of his career and third of the season. Sinner won the tournament in Beijing for the second time; he already won the title in the Chinese capital in 2023. In 2024, he also reached the final, where he lost to the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.
Thien played his first final at an ATP tournament; in the live ranking of the world tour, the 19-year-old tennis player occupies 36th place.
