Samsonova beat Kenin and reached the third round of the tennis tournament in Wuhan
Russian tennis player Lyudmila Samsonova made it to the third round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Wuhan, China.
In the second round match, Samsonova, who received the 16th seed, beat American Sofia Kenin with a score of 3:6, 6:3, 6:1. The duration of the meeting was 1 hour 56 minutes.
The Russian’s next opponent will be the winner of the match between Arina Sabalenka (Belarus, first seeded) and Rebecca Shramkova (Slovakia).
